This competition is regulated by Contest Rules (hereinafter “Rules”). Participation in this competition constitutes the Participant’s agreement and acceptance of these Rules.
No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win.
Aura (Oxford) Limited shall have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions, such change shall be effective immediately upon posting to this webpage.
Aura (Oxford) Limited also reserves the right to cancel the competition if circumstances arise outside of its control.
Eligibility
This competition is open to those who sign up at Build It Live Maidstone 2025. The competition is only open to legal residents of the United Kingdom, and is void where prohibited by law. Employees of Aura (Oxford) Limited, and other companies associated with the promotion of the competition, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and suppliers, and immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and/or those living in the same household of Employees are not eligible to participate in the competition. The competition is subject to UK Prize Competition Law.
Competition Period - start and end date
Entries will be accepted starting on 22nd February 2025, 08:00 BST, and ending at 23rd February 2025, 17:00 BST. Entries that are submitted before or after the Competition Period will be disqualified.
Entry rules
The competition must be entered by submitting your first name, last name where applicable, and email address using the online form. Incomplete entries or the ones which are not in alignment with the rules, requirements, and specifications will be disqualified by Aura (Oxford) Limited. You may enter the Competition only once and you need to provide any information that might be necessary. Any attempt of circumvention of the rules will result in immediate disqualification from the competition.
The Winner is required to have their project starting within 6 months of Build It Live Maidstone 2025.
Aura (Oxford) Limited must be carrying out the installation of the Winners Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP).
The Air Source Heat Pump must be appropriately sized for their property in line with microgeneration certification scheme (MCS).
The Participant will be required to enter into a contract with Aura (Oxford) Limited in line with microgeneration certification scheme (MCS) for the duration of the installation works.
Web Entries
Participants must accurately complete all required fields or the entry will be characterised as incomplete and will not qualify.
Rights Granted by Competition Participants
By entering this competition and submitting your details the Participant understands and agrees that Aura (Oxford) Limited and/or anyone acting on behalf of Aura (Oxford) Limited has the right, where permitted by law, to use the content and personal information for any promotional purposes without limitation and without any further compensation, notice, review, or consent.
Disclaimer of Responsibility
Aura (Oxford) Limited is not responsible for problems with competition entries, including but not limited to, entries which are lost, late, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, illegible, or cannot be completed due to electronic or technical difficulties, even if the problem is the result of the sole or partial negligence of Aura (Oxford) Limited.
Prizes
The Winner of the competition (hereinafter “Winner”) will receive 1x Vaillant aroTHERM plus 7kW Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP), which is determined by Aura (Oxford) Limited. The prize cannot be redeemed for cash or substituted for another prize, and is non-transferable. The ASHP will remain the property of Aura (Oxford) Limited until it is installed.
The Air Source Heat Pump must be appropriately sized for the property it is being installed into, in line with microgeneration certification scheme (MCS). Where a larger Vaillant aroTHERM plus kW Air Source Heat Pump is required the Winner has the option to pay the difference to increase the kW to redeem the prize value.
Prize-related expenses including all taxes represent the sole financial responsibility of the Winners. The prize is given with no written, express, or implied warranty. Any prize not claimed within 90 days will be forfeited by the winner and remain the property of Aura (Oxford) Limited. Acceptance of the prize gives Aura (Oxford) Limited permission to use the Winner’s personal details for advertising purposes without further compensation, unless it is prohibited by law.
Winner Selection and Notification
The Winner will be selected randomly from all entries received using computer software, under the supervision of Aura (Oxford) Limited. The Winner will be informed about the prize by email within 30 days following the Winner selection to claim the prize. Aura (Oxford) Limited is not responsible if the Winner fails to receive the notice about the prize due to any security settings or provision of incorrect contact information. If the Winner fails to respond within the required time period, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate Winner may be selected based on random selection by computer software. If the Winner is considered a minor in their place of residence, Aura (Oxford) Limited reserves the right to place the prize in the name of the Winner’s parent or legal guardian who will be requested to sign the Declaration of Claim on the Winner’s behalf. Acceptance of the prize given in this competition is in accordance with any and all UK laws and regulations. If the Winner is disqualified for any reason, Aura (Oxford) Limited is not obliged to provide an alternate prize or extend the competition period in any way, and all privileges as Winner will be terminated immediately. Participants who provide false, fraudulent or deceptive entries or who engage in false, fraudulent or deceptive acts in connection with the competition will be disqualified and subject to criminal prosecution.
How to Claim the Prize
The Winner will have their prize installed by Aura (Oxford) Limited. The Winner assumes the risk of the prize’s safe arrival.
Aura (Oxford) Limited reserves the right to deny awarding the prize if the winner fails to continue with the competition terms and conditions.
Terms & General Conditions
Aura (Oxford) Limited reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition should virus, bug, non-authorised human intervention, fraud, or any other cause affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the competition. If such case occurs, Aura (Oxford) Limited may select the Winner from all eligible entries. Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage the Winner selection process and the legitimate operation of the competition may be a violation of criminal and civil laws.
Disputes and Arbitration
THIS COMPETITION IS GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF THE UNITED KINGDOM. As a condition of participating in this competition, the participant agrees that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this competition, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in the United Kingdom having jurisdiction.

Aura (Oxford) Limited may utilise Instagram and/or Facebook and/or LinkedIn to promote competitions or giveaways. The Participant understands and agrees that any such promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram and/or Facebook and/or LinkedIn.
Limitation of Liability
By entering the competition, the Participant agrees to release and hold harmless Aura (Oxford) Limited and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from:
(i) such entrant’s participation in the competition and/or his/her/their acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof;
(ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunction of any computer, cable, network, hardware, software, or other mechanical equipment;
(iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone, or Internet service;
(iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the competition ;
(v) electronic or human error in the administration of the competition or the processing of entries.
